Join Sunrise Ski Patrol

Are you interested in joining Sunrise Ski Patrol?

Becoming a member of the Sunrise Ski Patrol is a three step process.

  1. Participating in an Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) course in Phoenix or Showlow/Pinetop before the ski season and passing the written and practical exams. Usually held September-December.
  2. Participate in a ski / snowboard evaluation.
  3. Participating in On The Hill Toboggan training for the entire season and passing a ski toboggan skills test at the end of the season. Training begins in January and concludes in March with the skills test.
